Cold-coach worklist — the directory pull, fill-in-the-blanks
The staging sheet for the cold niche-coach thread in SEED_OUTREACH_MAP.md.
Pull → score → the top 10 graduate to rows in Outreach ops (/dashboard/admin/outreach).
This doc is the pre-work; the panel is the pipeline. Written 2026-08-05.
Time-box it: ~45 minutes. Open a directory, skim 20 profiles, keep the ones that
score, move on. Don't research anyone deeply until they're in the top 10 — the deep
read (finding the hook) is what you do right before you send, not now.
Step 1 — where to pull (open these, in order)
Each is a real directory of working coaches with client rosters (the convertible seed). Grab name + best public channel (email / IG / site contact). Verify each is real + current — don't trust a stale listing.
- ADDCA (ADD Coach Academy) graduate directory — largest ADHD-coach pipeline. Start here.
- PAAC (Professional Assoc. of ADHD Coaches) "find a coach" — credentialed, niche-pure.
- ICF Credentialed Coach Finder — filter niche = ADHD / executive-function.
- ADDA + CHADD professional directories.
- ADDitude Magazine directory — practitioners who already write for the audience.
- (sleep runner-up) Society of Behavioral Sleep Medicine provider finder + CBT-I coaches.
Also worth a look on Instagram: the hashtags where these coaches post (#adhdcoach, #executivefunction). A coach who posts about the client not doing the plan is pre-sold — screenshot that post; it's the hook.
Step 2 — score each candidate (the rubric, 0–2 per signal)
From SEED_OUTREACH_MAP.md. Contact the top 10 by total (max 10).
| # | Signal | 0 | 1 | 2 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Runs groups/cohorts (one yes = many clients) | 1:1 only | small group sometimes | groups are the model |
| 2 | Names adherence/consistency as the client problem (bio/posts) | no signal | implied | says it explicitly ← this is your hook |
| 3 | Reachable channel | $-gated form only | site contact form | open DM or public email |
| 4 | Small-but-active > famous | huge (won't reply) or dead | mid | small + clearly active |
| 5 | Brand-fit (evidence-based, honest tone) | hype-funnel | neutral | grounded/evidence-based |
Signal #2 does double duty: the exact post/bio line where they name the adherence problem
is the [one specific real thing they do] blank in the template. Copy it verbatim into hook.
Step 3 — the sheet (fill it)
| # | Name | Directory | Channel (handle/email) | S1 | S2 | S3 | S4 | S5 | Total | Hook (their exact adherence line) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| ex | Jane Doe | PAAC | _@janedoe.adhd (IG)_ | 2 | 2 | 2 | 1 | 2 | 9 | "my clients know the routine — they just don't run it" |

| 3 | ||||||||||
| 4 | ||||||||||
| 5 | ||||||||||

Step 4 — graduate the top 10 to the panel
For each keeper, in Outreach ops (/dashboard/admin/outreach) → Add a target:
- Name → their name
- Handle → the channel from the sheet (email → the "Draft email" button opens a draft; IG/handle → "Copy IG DM" copies the message to paste)
- Channel → Email / Instagram DM / etc.
- Tier → A (they convert to completions, not just clicks)
- Hook → the verbatim adherence line from column Hook (this is what makes it not spam)
- Template →
Cold coach — DM (short)for IG,Cold coach — emailfor email - Next step → e.g. "send + follow up once in a week"
Then hit Send from the panel — it composes with their name + hook filled, opens the draft / copies the DM, and logs the touch. Work the pipeline from there.
One honesty gate before you send: if the hook is empty or generic, you haven't done step 2 —
go back and find the real line. A personalized cold message is outreach; an un-personalized one is spam.
